Croutons
Ingredients
- 2 pieces bread ends
- 1/8c margarine/butter, melted
- 1T finely shredded Parmesan
- 1/4t (ish?) each: garlic powder, onion powder, freshly ground salt, freshly ground pepper
- 1/8t (ish?) chili powder
- dash cayenne pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with tin foil (don't use silicone).
- Dice bread into cubes.
- Toss bread cubes in a bowl with margarine to coat. Sprinkle spices and Parmesan and toss to ensure broad distribution.
- Place single layer of bread cubes on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Gently toss and bake for another 10 minutes, or until croutons are crisp but tender.
