Molasses Ginger Snaps
Ingredients
- 3/4 c margarine or shortening
- 1 c sugar
- 1/4 c molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp ginger
Directions
- Mix together at one time all the ingredients.
- Form into balls. Roll in sugar.
- Place wide apart on slightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 for 8 - 10 minutes. Makes 3 - 4 doz.
- For a chewy cookie bake for the minimum time; for a crisp cookie, bake for the maximum time.
